DANVILLE — Lisa Sue (Meeker) Baldwin of Danville was called home to be with the Lord at 8:18 a.m. EST Dec. 1, 2012, after a fatal car accident on U.S. Route 136 near the Illinois state line.

Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St., Danville, with Pastor Rod Godley officiating. Visitation: 3:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Pape Funeral Home.

Lisa was born June 3, 1964, to Virgil and Goldie (Miller) Meeker of Danville.

She married Randy Baldwin on Jan. 5, 2002.

Lisa left behind a beautiful daughter, Rae Lynn Baldwin, 14, of Danville; four sisters, Lori Meeker, Lana (David) Warren, Linda (Steve) Coon and Teresa Meeker; two brothers, Raymond (Michelle) Meeker and Howard Meeker, all of whom are from Danville. She has 23 nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews. Lisa was preceded by her parents; paternal grandparents, Howard and Grace Meeker; and maternal grandparents, Cecil and Oline Miller.

Lisa loved watching sports. The Dallas Cowboys were her favorite team. She was an avid reader, loved fishing, volunteered at the Producers Baseball Park and, most of all, spending time with family. She was an independent contractor for the Commercial-News.

Lisa was known for a loving heart and would help anyone in need, and will be missed dearly by her friends and family.
