WESTVILLE — Wayne “Butch” Paul Forsyth, 71, of Westville, passed away at 9:21 a.m. Nov. 30, 2012, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home, Tilton.

He was born Sept. 6, 1941, in Springfield to Paul James and Jenni (Black).

He was married to Diana K. Barney on March 29, 1989, in Westville. He had a special love for his wife. She survives.

Also surviving his mother, Jenni; one brother, Rodney (Maggie) Forsyth of Springfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan Barney, Calvin Barney, Ed (Jodie) Barney, Tim (Shirlee) Barney, Yvonne Miller, Carol McArdle, Teresa (Clinton) Pridemore and Karen (Wayne) Dietz; special nephew, Keith Barney; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his special caregiver, Jeanette Stingley.

He was preceded in death by his father, two sister and three brothers.

His hobbies included gardening, watching television and riding his bike. He will be dearly missed by his family and his dog, Blacky.

A memorial service for family and friends will take place from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at 579 U.A.W. in Tilton.
