DANVILLE — Reiley Jeanell Powell, infant daughter of Lester and Ericka Powell, of Danville, died on Dec. 30, 2012, at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born on Dec. 11, 2012, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

She is survived by her parents; a sister, Destinee Powell, of Danville; three brothers, Kamren, Adrien and Jaeden Washington, all of Rantoul; her grandparents, Martha Francisco, of Urbana, and Lester and Sonya Powell, of Danville; a nephew; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Chelsey Washington and Cheyenne Powell; a grandfather, William Francisco; and an aunt, Shawn Looney.

Reiley was small, but her biggest enjoyment was showing how sassy and full of attitude she could be. She knew just how to get attention. She touched so many lives and left such an impression on so many people in her short time with us.

A service to celebrate the life of Reiley Powell will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, in Danville. Pastor Ricky Merriman will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, also at Sunset in Danville.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in memory of Reiley Jeanell Powell at any First Midwest Bank locations and also Woodforest National Bank.
