Carolyn A. Nale

WESTVILLE — Carolyn A. Nale, 67, of Westville, passed away at 5:20 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center.

She was born on Aug. 8, 1944, in Watseka, the daughter of Harry Kincade and Stella Murry. She had married Charles Nale on Feb. 19, 1966, in Covington, Ind. He preceded her on Sept. 15, 2009. Those who will miss her are two sons, Charles Nale of West Chester, Ohio, and Tony Nale of Georgetown; her daughter, Robyn (Rene) Deyo of Hegeler; her grandchildren, Dakota, Zachary, Brandy, Nicole, Samantha, Tiffany and Jordan; also two great-grandchildren, Conner and Lili; one brother, Ed Schroeder Jr. of Kankakee; and three sisters, Alice Thiele of Watseka, Evelyn Kincade of Odell and Shirley Martz of Woodland. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Tom, Ernie and Arthur; and two sisters, Margaret and Jean.

Carolyn had worked in construction, also as a gas station attendant, and most recently at Milliken Dry Cleaners in Danville. Carolyn was a member of the Laborers Local #624. She enjoyed playing cards, gambling and most of all spending time with her family.

A celebration of life funeral service for Carolyn will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Sunset’s Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park by the swan pond in Danville. Memorial contributions can be given to Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
