DANVILLE —
Deloris Ellen Cormaney, 64, of Danville, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
Deloris was born Aug. 24, 1948, to George and Aritta (DeWitt) Cormaney in Danville.
Deloris is survived by her son, Gavin Palatt of St. Louis, Mo.; one niece, Dana Cormaney of Nashville, Tenn.; and special friend, Alex Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, William.
Dee retired from nursing and never stopped caring for others. She loved gardening, cooking and spending time with her three cats.
As per Deloris’ wishes, she is to be cremated, with graveside services on Friday, Jan. 18, at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, is handling arrangements.
Memorials may be made in Deloris’ name to a charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be left at: www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
