DANVILLE — Lynn V. Brown, 58, of Danville, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2013, at her home.

She was born Aug. 7, 1954, in Danville, the daughter of Jerome and Drusilla (Drews) Anderson.

Surviving her are her mother, Drusilla Anderson of Danville; two daughters, Andrea (Shane Curry) Brown of Champaign, and Kimberly (Jay) Ryan of Summerville, S.C.; two brothers, Keith (Mona) Anderson of Harrisburg, Pa., and Eric (Martha) Anderson of Danville; one grandson, Jack Ryan.

Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Anderson.

She worked in computer education at the Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care System in Danville. Lynn was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She loved making jewelry, baking wedding cakes, watching movies, theater and plays. She especially loved being with friends and family.

A celebration of Lynn’s life will begin at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, in Danville, with Pastor Kent Tibben officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Lynn’s name to C.A.R.A. No Kill Shelter and Veterans Affairs Voluntary Services.
