Marilyn A. Faust

TAMPA, Fla. — Marilyn A. Faust, age 85, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Newman, Ill., died at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at University Community Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, in Joines Funeral Home, Illinois Route 130 South, Villa Grove, with the Rev. Nicholas Showalter officiating. Burial will be in the Newman Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours before the services in the funeral home.

Mrs. Faust was born June 3, 1927, in Danville, a daughter of Henry and Mildred (Kesler) Stuebe.

She married Robert D. Faust Sr. on Oct. 28, 1946, in Danville. He died May 7, 2001.

Surviving are one daughter, Kay Lynn (Tom) St. Clair of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; and one son, Robert D. (Jane Ann) Faust Jr. of Villa Grove; one brother, Jack Stuebe of Arcaida, Calif.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Faust was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Mrs. Faust worked for the Illinois Department of Public Aid in Tuscola for many years, and she retired from Ryder Truck Company in Tampa as office manager. She was an excellent seamstress and made many clothes for all of her family.

Memorials can be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
