Geneva Estock

BULLARD, Texas — A memorial service for Geneva Estock, 71, of Bullard, Texas, and formerly of Danville, will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Stewart Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Campbell officiating.

Mrs. Estock passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, after a brief illness in Bullard, and is now in heaven with loved ones.

She was born Aug. 18, 1941, in Danville to Paul E. and Lucille Schumacker Pouilliard.

She married Jerry L. Estock on Sept. 26, 1958, and three children were born to this union.

She lived in Ocala, Fla., for many years and has many friends there. One of her favorite pastimes in Ocala was fishing with her husband and friends.

Geneva moved to Bullard in 2005 and attended Bullard Southern Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to garage sales every Friday with good friend, Gaye. She has two cats, Callie and Little Bit, that she loved dearly. Geneva was the greatest mother, grandmother and mother-in-law anyone could have. Words cannot describe how she will be missed.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Estock was preceded in death by daughter, Paula Estock, and step-mother, Thelma Pouilliard.

She is survived by her loving family, including daughter, Jerri Lynn (John) Mackey of Bullard; son, John Allen Estock of Danville; grandchildren, Sheila Darling of South Whitley, Ind., Jessie Estock of Ocala, and Laura Mackey of Bullard; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, a step-brother and step-sisters in Danville.

Visitation will be 9:30-10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, Tyler, Texas.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Joseph Martins, Pastor Jeff Campbell and to the many friends who sent cards and get-well wishes these last two months.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Ave., Suite 310, White Plains, NY 10605.
