DANVILLE — Linda Neal, 57, of Danville, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at her residence in Danville.

Linda was born July 11, 1955, to Harold and Dorothy (Pollitt) Neal in Danville.

Linda is survived by her son, Randy (Tracy) Neal of Normal; two grandchildren, Caden and Carter Neal; two brothers, Carl (Julie) Neal and Harold (Lynn) Neal Jr. of Catlin; one sister, Melody (Gary) Loschen of Potomac; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister Marsha Mason.

Linda graduated from Oakwood High in 1974. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

A celebration of Linda’s life will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville, with Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. prior to the service at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, in Danville. Cremation is to follow, with scattering at a later date.
