DANVILLE —
A broken boiler at Danville High School left things very cold in the gymnasium.
Because of those conditions, the Danville boys basketball game against the Urbana Tigers scheduled for Tuesday night was postponed.
“We still held a practice after school, but it wouldn’t have been good for a game,’’ Danville coach Ted Houpt said.
The game has been rescheduled for next Monday with the sophomore game starting at 6 p.m. and the varsity contest beginning around 7:30 p.m.
Next up for the Vikings (3-15 overall and 2-7 in the Big 12 Conference) will be Friday’s road game in Normal against the Normal Community Ironmen.
Normal Community defeated Danville 55-43 on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Danville.
