DANVILLE —
The No. 4 ranked Danville Area Community College men’s basketball team was outmanned and struggled early in Tuesday’s game against the Olivet Nazarene junior varsity.
But the Jaguars took a 11-0 start in the second half to get the win 80-62 at Mary Miller Gym.
“We’re dealing with some sickness in our team right now and only played seven guys tonight,” DACC coach Mike Carpenter said. “This was a great team win after being down most of the first half. Our kids did a great job adjusting at halftime.”
Evan Blackmon had 19 points to lead the Jaguars, while Ronnie White had 17 points, eight rebounds and six blocks, Chris Whitehead had 15 points and eight assists and Mike Ryce had 13 points.
The Jaguars are 9-1 and will play Wabash Valley College on Monday.
