Danville guard Devyn McGuire’s quest to be the Class 4A long distance shootout champion fell short by one basket on Friday.
McGuire made eight out of his 15 shots during his round, which was the top mark until Bradley-Bourbonnais’ Bennet Schimmelpfenning hit nine shots in his round to get the win.
