The Georgetown-Ridge Farm girls basketball team continued its strong start on Thursday with a 45-37 win over Milford in Vermilion Valley Conference action.
Brittany Hay had 16 to lead the Buffaloes while Callan Hall had 14, Catie Brandt had five and Hannah Brandt added four.
Golene Thrush led the Bearcats with 11 while Alissa Totheroh and Samantha Wilken each had seven.

HOOPESTON — Abby Bergman had 16 points as the Blue Devils pulled out a win over the Cornjerkers.
Brooke Walsh had 12 for Bismarck-Henning while Lexi Ballard had six and Jessica Hall added four.
Haley Dixon had 13 points to lead Hoopeston Area, including a 3-pointer with a minute; 45 seconds left to get it within two points, but could not get the lead.
Shelby Holzinger had nine points and a career high 21 rebounds while Erika Solis added seven.

CATLIN — Taylor Vice had 12 points as the Storm outscored the Cardinals 27-15 in the second half to get the win.
Kayln Learnard had nine points for Salt Fork while Emilie McFadden had six and Kaitlyn Carleton had five.
Jordyn Lunger had 13 to lead Chrisman while Sarah Ellis and Shelby Warner each had four.

RANTOUL — Tyler Pasley (145 pounds), Jared Noel (170) and Mackenzie Noel (195) won by pin as the Blue Devils beat the Eagles.
Morgan Supergan (285), Dalton Edwards (113) and Danny Feezor (126) were among the Bismarck-Henning wrestlers who got forfeit wins.
Cornjerkers lose two at Oakwood
FITHIAN — Oakwood and Westville got six forfeit wins each as they both defeated Hoopeston Area in a triangular meet.
Antonio Alvarez (126 pounds) and Austin Shelton (138) got pins for the Comets while Ashton Haton (120) and Tanner Horatschki (113) won by decision.
Gage Foster (132), Jacob Varns (195) and Ethan Linder (285) each had pinfall wins for the Cornjerkers while Devin Cartwright (106) won by forfeit.
Cartwright, Foster and Linder won by pin against Westville in a 54-30 loss while Dylan Pate (113) won by forfeit and Josh Johnson (126) won by disqualification.
Kodi Ellis (120), Aryn Vaughn (138) and Tyler Dicken (195) each won by pinfall for the Tigers.

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — The Mustangs won three matches by pin as they were able to beat the Trojans.
Wes Cox (113 pounds) Alex Haddock (132) and Trevor Loveall (160) got pins for Fountain Central, while Matthew McMasters (138) won by decision and Jaren Oakley (120), Clint Byers (126) and Kyle Byers (170) each won by forfeit.
Jansen Applegate (152) Karson Allen (195) Dalton Hardy (220) and Garrett Reynolds each had pinfall wins for Covington while Nick Ratcliff got a win by decision.
