BLOOMINGTON —
Johnny Leverenz got the only individual titles for Danville on Tuesday as the Vikings took fourth in the Big 12 boys indoor meet at Illinois Wesleyan University.
Leverenz won the 800 meter run in 2 minutes, 1.82 seconds and the 1,600 run in 4:34.38.
Martez Davis was second in the high jump (5 feet, 10 inches) for Danville, while Trent Sherfield was third in the triple jump (42-3½), Aaron Hardimon was third in the shot put (46-7), Lonnie Buggs was third in the long jump (19-7), and Chris Collier was fourth in the pole vault (11-6).
The 1,600 relay team of Jelani Day, Buggs, John Huff and Leverenz were third (3:42.03) for Danville,

Schlarman loses in state final
HEYWORTH — The Hilltoppers lost two tough games, 25-17, 28-26 to Bloomington Holy Trinity in the seventh grade Class AA volleyball title game.
After losing the first game, Schlarman took a 22-12 lead in the second game before the Saints battled back with a 16-4 run to get the title.
Arieal Scott had 10 service points and four aces for the Hilltoppers while Maddy Shermsheim, Aleksas Dietzen and Celestial Strader each had one ace with Shermsheim getting seven service points, Dietzen and Janie Gross each getting three and Strader got two.
Schlarman ends the season at 20-2.
