Alex Portwood had 25 points as the Milford boys basketball team defeated Watseka 76-62 Friday in non-conference action.
Josh Killion had 22 points for the Bearcats, who took a 13-6 first quarter lead and never looked back, while Jordan Gullquist had 13 points with four assists and Jeff Cann had 10 points with five rebounds and four assts.
Milford improves to 9-9 and will play Kankakee Bishop McNamara on Tuesday.

DANVILLE — Jonathan Garver had 24 points as the Knights defeated Peoria’s Quest Charter.
Zane Bumpus had 17 points for First Baptist, who had 29-18 halftime lead and a 47-31 third quarter lead, while John Martin had nine, Michael Young added eight and Jermaine Brooks chipped in seven.
The Knights are 5-4 and will face Calvary Baptist on Monday.

South Vermillion 51
CLINTON, Ind. — Ethan Woodrow had 19 points with 12 rebounds as the Mustangs defeated South Vermillion.
Koby Pierce had 17 for Fountain Central, who outscored South Vermillion 24-9 in the third quarter to put the game away, while Luke Davenport had 10 points and eight assists and Sam Woodrow added eight.
The Mustangs area 9-2 and will host North Putnam today.

MONTEZUMA, Ind. — Bryce Cooper had 17 points, three steals and three assists as the Red Ramblers got past the Panthers.
Brady Sheridan had 15 points with 10 rebounds and three assists for Attica, who was up 40-38 going into the fourth before outscoring Riverton Parke 15-5, while Kenny Little had 11 points and four steals.
Attica will host Faith Christian today.
