DANVILLE —
The DACC women’s basketball team had 19 steals and forced 31 turnovers on Wednesday as it easily defeated the MacMurray College junior varsity team 83-26.
Tierra Golightly had 18 points for the Lady Jaguars, who were up 43-11 at halftime while Hillary Lively had 16, Stephanie Lord had 13 and Emily Montgomery added 10.
DACC is 18-7 and will host Parkland College on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Mustangs second in triangular
VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — Joe Nine won the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 56.94 seconds for Fountain Central as they were second to North Montgomery in a triangular meet with North Vermillion.
Kale Freeman won the diving for the Mustangs (160.25) while the 400 freestyle relay team of Weston Phillips, Clayton McGrady, Nick Hall and Nine won with a time of 4:08.15.
The Falcons did not win an event but had a couple of seconds with Tyler Scott in the 100 freestyle (1:00.46) and Riley Chew in the 200 freestyle (2:34.76).
