SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
After taking the Danville Dashers from five wins its first season to 19 wins and a Western Conference playoff spot, Danville coach Rob Schweyer was named co-Federal Hockey League Coach of the Year.
Schweyer led the Dashers to 19 wins and an increase from 20 points last season to 64 and a fifth-place finish. He shares the award with Dayton Demonz coach Marc Lefebvre, whose team eliminated Danville in the Western Conference playoffs.
Also, Danville Dashers broadcaster Tom Pauly was named FHL Broadcaster of the Year for his webcasts of every Dashers home game.
