URBANA — If there is one thing that the Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman baseball team will have to work on after its first game against Urbana on Thursday, it would be pitching.
Buffalo pitchers allowed 12 walks and 19 hits as they lost 23-3 to Urbana in their season opener.
Nathan Ross had two hitswhile Craig Denton had two RBIs.
The Buffaloes will play Watseka today.

MILFORD — Kyle Evans drove in the only run for the Bearcats, but they could only get two hits for the day as they lost to Donovan in their season opener.

DACC splits with Franklin
FRANKLIN, Ind. — Rennie Troggio had four hits to lead the Jaguars to a 9-2 win in the first game of a doubleheader against the Franklin junior varsity team.
Patrick Foster had three hits for DACC while Bobby Hansen and Riley Howden each had two RBIs. Foster, Neil Fertig and Adam Kirk each had one.
Cam Wilson picked up the win to go 2-1.
In the second game, the Jaguars committed six errors as they lost 9-2.
Foster and Blake Wadsworth each had an RBI for DACC, who is 5-4 and will have its first home game of the season against Illinois Central on Saturday at noon.
