WESTVILLE —
Courtney Helm and Lizzy Smith shared game-high scoring honors with 17 points each as the Villa Grove Blue Devils defeated the Westville Tigers 52-34 in a non-conference girls basketball game on Monday.
Villa Grove (4-2) built a 24-14 halftime lead en route to a 18-point victory over Westville, which falls to 2-5.
Senior Ashley Hoffman led the Tigers with 10 points, making 6-of-8 free throws, while Danielle Gabeheart chipped in with seven and Ji’Cee Lacey finished with six.
Westville is back in action on Saturday with an 11 a.m. contest against St. Joseph-Ogden.
