WESTVILLE —
The Westville Tigers boys basketball team’s defense was on display on Wednesday, holding Chrisman to only four points in the first half to go on to a 38-20 win in Vermilion Valley Conference action.
Robert Elliott, Layn White and Tanner Cox each had 10 points for Westville, who was up 16-4 at halftime and 26-9 after the third quarter, while Jordan Romo had six.
Tyler Lunger led the Cardinals with eight points while Chase Anderson had five and Chris Hoult added four.
The same two teams will play again on Friday in the third place game of the Leader Classic in St, Joseph.
