Heather Baker had 22 kills and nine blocks as the Salt Fork Storm went 1-1 at the Schlarman Classic on Wednesday.
Salt Fork lost to St. Thomas More 25-20, 25-19 in one match after the won a hard-fought 28-26, 17-25, 26-24 match against the Watseka Warriors..
Baker had 15 kills, six blocks and four aces in the match with Watseka, while Megan McCord had a team-high 24 digs and Maddie Stutsman contributed 25 assists.
In the loss to St. Thomas More, Baker led with seven kills, while McCord had 17 digs, and Stutsman finished with 13 assists.
Salt Fork will be back at the Schlarman Classic tonight starting with a 5 p.m. contest against the host Hilltoppers.

SPRINGFIELD — Daniel Ilgesias scored twice for the Jaguars but it wasn’t enough as Danville Area Community College fell to the 15th-rated Lincoln Land Loggers.
Ilgesias scored in each half with one assist being credited to Eric Hernandez.
DACC keeper Adam Barr had five saves.
Up next for the Jaguars is a home contest on Saturday against Lewis & Clark. The 3 p.m. match will be held at Winter Park.

KANKAKEE — Chelsee Blair had 10 assists and four digs in the Jaguars 25-12, 25-15, 25-23 loss to the Cavalier of Kankakee Community College.
Amy Fulk led DACC with seven kills, while Sarah Barrett contributed five.
The Jaguars are back at home on Saturday with a 11 a.m. match against Black Hawk East.
