Mr. and Mrs. Derek Gordon (Courtney Foley)

DANVILLE —  

First Baptist Church in Danville was the setting for the Sept. 17, 2011 wedding of Courtney Foley and Derek Gordon. Donnie Gordon performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Cheryl Foley of Danville. She is a graduate of First Baptist Christian School in Danville and Pensacola Christian College and is employed at Metro Baptist Preschool.

The groom is the son of Bill and Linda Gordon of Hendersonville, Tenn. He is a graduate of Metro Christian Academy in Madison, Tenn. and Vol State in Gallatin, Tenn. He is employed at Southeast Venture.

Maid of honor was Charity Stanis of Tilton, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Valerie Garver of South Korea, Rachel Silvey of Chicago and Shelby Phillips of Bismarck, all friends of the bride and Katie Hardy of Covington, Ind. and Rachel Janeski of Danville, both cousins of the bride. Flower girls were Aubrey and Hannah Stanis, nieces of the bride and Kara Gordon, niece of the groom.

Best man was Donnie Gordon of Goodlettsville, Tenn., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jared Gesseman of Hendersonville, Tenn. and Michael Wrigley of Nashville, Tenn., both friends of the groom, Jeff Stanis of Tilton, brother-in-law of the bride and Timothy Foley of Covington, Ind. and Tyler Foley of Danville, both brothers of the bride.

After a honeymoon to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the couple resides in Goodlettsville, Tenn.
