DANVILLE —  

Trinity Lutheran in Danville was the setting for the Sept. 10, 2011 wedding of Amanda Ponder and Ryan Russian. Pastor Tibben performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dave and Molly Ponder of Westville. She has an associate’s degree in early childhood and is employed at DACC Child Development Center.

The groom is the son of Richard Russian of Tilton and the late Judi Russian. He has a bachelor’s degree from Millikin and is employed at Vermilion County Juvenile Detention Center.

Matron of honor was Tammy Hurt of Knoxville, Tenn., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were April Gerrib of Westville and Darcy Decker of Williamsport, Ind., both friends of the bride and Amy Russian-Crist of Indianola, sister of the groom. Flower girl was Allison Crist, niece of the groom.

Best man was Michael Hurt of Knoxville, brother-in-law of the bride. Groomsmen were John Russian of Danville, uncle of the groom, John Rineberg of Danville and Brian Sager of Tilton, both friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Gavin and Graham Hurt of Knoxville, both nephews of the bride. Ushers were Tim Brennan, uncle of the bride and Lance Holecz of Danville, friend of the groom.

After a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple resides in Danville.
