The Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington, Va., was the setting for the Sept. 22, 2012, wedding of Victoria Yue and Tyler Jeremy Blue. Father John Kartje of Evanston officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jing-Zoon and Hsu Hwa Yue of Chantilly, Va. She is a 2004 graduate of Chantilly High School, a 2008 graduate of the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Va., and received her master’s degree from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism in 2009. She is a writer/editor at the National Archives in Washington, D.C.

The groom is the son of Ron and Nancy Blue of Danville. He is a 2004 graduate of Danville High School, a 2008 graduate of University of Dayton and received his master’s degree from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism in 2009. He is editor at the ABIS Group, Evanston.

Maid of honor was Brittany Hince of Fairfax, Va., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashlyn Blue of Indianapolis, sister of the groom; and Colette Laroya of Chantilly, Julie Chiou of Vienna, Va., and Elleen Hsu of McLean, Va., all friends of the bride.

Best man was Charles Green of Danville, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Edward Yue of Chantilly, brother of the bride; and Jeremy Dearth of Danville, Chris Geiger of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ben Schmizze of Cincinnati, all friends of the groom.

Ushers were Tyler Blum of Danville and Joe Hibdon of Evanston, both friends of the groom. Readers were Brittany Blue of Chicago and Madeline Blue of Danville, both sisters of the groom. Greeters were Connie Chung of Lansdale, Pa., and Stephanie Sun of Hsinchu, Taiwan, both friends of the bride. Vocalist was Jennifer Geldermann of Herndon, Va., friend of the bride.

A reception was held at the China Garden in Arlington.

After a honeymoon trip to Taiwan and Australia, the couple will reside in Arlington.
